  • 2006 – 25th   13:46   (extremely rough – course short due to lost buoy)
  • 2007 – 32nd  16:52   (sick with flu)
  • 2009 – 31st    16.50   (bad tactics – went out front, got ‘run-over’)
  • 2010 – 34th   17:00
  • 2011 –  45th   16.24   (fairly calm)
  • 2012 – 50th   18.12   (fairly calm – over-trained?)
  • 2013 – 17th    17:57   (calm) 50-59 Age Group Results
  • 2014 – 25th   18:32   (very rough – just missing a big dumping shore break)
  • 2015 – 15th   16:31    (fairly calm)
  • 2016 –  7th   17:36    First Top Ten Result (a little rough for conditions)
  • 2017 –  9th   16:09   Second Top Ten
  • 2018 – 17th   16:51  (a little rough, tough in the first half to get any rhythm … disappointing)
  • 2019 – 14th  18:51  (rough … winning time M50-59 15:58, MPro 10:51)
  • 2022 – 15th 17:52 (WTF) … winning time M50-59 14:00, MPro 10:50)

Noosa Olympic Triathlon

These 1500m Swims were in the salt water Canal behind the main beach:

  • 2007 – 26:37   (very sick with flu)

  • 2012 – 27:14   (over-trained?)
  • 2013 – 24:47
  • 2014 – 26:16  (not bad considering the interruptions to training)

2015 – The First Noosa Triathlon 1500m swim on the Ocean Side!

  • 2015 – 26:50
  • 2016 – 30:00 in rough conditions – 3rd Place for our Team Sit Down Fat Lady
  • 2017 – 25:33 – 6th Place for Team Sit Down Fat Lady in Men’s Masters
  • 2018 – 26:54 – 6th Place again
  • 2019 – 20:22 – 10th Place (massive course change due to wicked sweep … more run than swim)
  • 2022 – 23:33, T1 3:35 – 7th Place for the TEAM
  • 2023 – 24:35, T1 3:54 – 14th / 77 for the TEAM
  • 2024 – 24:35, T1 3:43 – 13th / 88 for the TEAM
