Summer WK11 (cycle wk3, Tues)

At the end of this week, it will be half way in the 22 week program for the Noosa 1000

Thursday is also the end of the BEAST season with the pool closing for 3 weeks of maintenance on Friday.

Week 3 of the 4 week cycle – so this is meant to be a very challenging week.

WU:  900m to 5:55am

Set 1:  Kick

  • 8 x 50m Kick on 1:10
  • 50 Easy

Set 2:  EN-1

  • 3 x 300 FS on 4:45 (max swim 4:30)
    1-Swim, 2-Pull, 3-Swim
    (DB 4:30, 4:25, 4:25)
  • 3 x 100 BK on 2:00
  • 50 Easy

Set 3:  Speed Work

  • 4 x (50 Sprint, 50 EN-2 speed, 50 Easy) on 2:30
    (DB – 35+42=1:17 1st 100m, 1:17, 1:19)
    A good set

Set 4:  EN-2

  • 3 x 200m FS on 3:05 (swim 2:50, 15 sec rest)
    (DB – 2:50, 2:52, 2:54)
  • 100 BK Easy

Swim Down:

  • 200 Easy
