Noosa – Taper WK 2/2 (session 6, Tues)

Final ‘work’ Taper session – Wed/Thurs will be Warm-up/Swim-Down plus a little pace only. Swam at the Sunshine Coast University 50m pool again and had the opportunity to watch the Aussie and French teams training again.

Warm-Up:  1000m

  • 300m FS Pull
  • 300m BK
  • 100m FS Pull with paddles
  • 100m BK with paddles
  • 100m FS with paddles
  • 100m BR

Set 1:  Kick

  • 4 x 50m Kick on 15 sec
    #1 FS, #2 BR, #3&4 BK

Set 2:  EN-1

  • 100m FS on 1:45, swam 1:25
  • 100m BK on 2:00, swam 1:45
  • 100m FS, swam 1:25
  • 100m Easy

Set 3:  Race Pace

  • 50m FS on 1:00, swam 35s
  • 100m FS on 1:35, swam 1:21
  • 100m FS on 1;35, swam 1:25
  • 50m FS, swam 40s
  • 10 Easy

Set 4:  Speed

  • 4 x (25m FS Sprint, 25m Easy) on 1:30
  • 100 Easy

Set 5:  EN-2

  • 100m FS ‘solid’, swam 1:16

Swim Down:  700m
